The income of A and B are in the ratio of 3 to 2, and their expenditures are in the ratio of 5 to 3. Each saves $500 a month, find their monthly income. 更新: Please explain so that I can understand. Thanks!

Let their Income is X Income of A = 3X Income of B = 2X Let their Expanditure is Y Expanditure of A = 5Y Expanditure of B = 3Y When each save $500 Income - Expanditure 3X - 5Y= $500 2X - 3Y= $500 3X - 5Y= 2X - 3Y X= 2Y, 2(2Y) - 3Y= $500 Y=$500 3X - 5(500) = $500 3X= $500 + 2500 So, Income of A = 3X = $3,000 Income of B = 2X = $2,000
